Becky Dutro, Nevada Taxpayers Association President

Becky Dutro was appointed President of the Nevada Taxpayers Association in June 2025. She leads a member-driven association that advocates for sound fiscal policies, promotes efficiency, and ensures accountability and fiscal responsibility. Joining NTA in early 2024, she helped support the administrative functions of the Association, as well as a lobbyist during the 2025 Legislative Session.

With over 20+ years of experience in Nevada public finance, Becky has held department assistant director roles in the state's largest county, including extensive experience with the Nevada property tax system. As a public servant, Becky demonstrated a strong commitment to being a good steward of taxpayer dollars, maintaining financial stability, and implementing solutions to improve residents' lives.

Becky is originally from Minnesota but has been a Nevada resident since 1987. She received her bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She currently resides in Las Vegas.
